Welcome

This Research Integrity and Regulatory Compliance Database was developed with support from the DBT Wellcome Trust India Alliance through the IRMI RM Grant (IA/RMG/22/1/730028), awarded to Dr. Sabuj Bhattacharyya (grantee) and Dr. Ketan Thorat (collaborator) at BRIC-inStem, Bangalore, India.

 

Aim:

The database aims to assist educators across the country by providing access to comprehensive information on various aspects of academic integrity, research ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Vision:

We hope that this resource acts as a single window for teaching and learning resources in  Research/Academic Integrity and Regulatory Compliance and promotes the creation of an ethical and compliant life science research ecosystem. This database will regularly update with the latest information, guidelines, and teaching/learning tools. If you identify any resource discrepancies, please write to the curators.

We thank the Institute's leadership, Project Steering Commitee for support. We also gratefully acknowledge the valuable contributions of Prof. Mary Davis from Oxford Brookes University, UK, for sharing updates on news articles related to general misconduct. Sabuj Bhattacharyya, Ph.D

 Dr Sabuj Bhattacharyya currently working as Scientist and Research Ethics and Integrity Officer at inStem, Bangalore. He has received training in ecology, population genomics, academic integrity during his Ph.D. tenure at Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, and the University of Colorado, Boulder as well as  during post doctoral tenure at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and the University of Sheffield. Prior to joining inStem, he worked as a grant adviser at leading funding agency, DBT -Wellcome Trust India Alliance to as science facilitator. He is an alumni of Fulbright Nehru Fellowship, British Commonwealth Fellowship, Inlaks  Foundation Fellowship, and currently serving as an member of British Commonwealth Scholarship Commission Advisory Panel (2021-2025), IUCN Lagomorph Specialist Group (2009- till date).
